Byron Gourmet Pies is set to expand their range with a new Gluten Free Pastry style for the Sausage Rolls, Energy Rolls & Cheese & Spinach Rolls, this new gluten free pastry certainly doesn’t compromise flavour or texture. The Gluten Free Pastry is made with olive oil or vegetable margarine and a secret combination of flour blends leaving it with a beautiful puff pastry texture.

The Byron Gourmet Pie team trialed the new Sausage Rolls at a recent event in Byron Bay with a big thumbs up from all, leaving many stumped at the similarities of pastry flavour and texture to regular pastry. Also great news for vegans and vegetarians, as the Energy Rolls now come in both the gf vegan pastry and standard vegetarian pastry.
I couldn’t believe it was Gluten Free, as you always seem to get a tougher bland texture with most Gluten Free pastry, but this is different! Great Job team BGP. ~ Doug Lord
